Barely perched on mantle and fell over when you put a stocking on the hook
cute design
it's hard to find cute stocking holders so I was pleasantly surprised with this one. we have pit a full stocking on it yet so not sure how well it will hold the weight. of you can find this on sale, it is a nice piece.

Bent hook so it falls off the mantel
I had huge hopes for this and was beyond disappointed with it. The hook is bent backwards so it sits off the edge of the mantel. Even without the stocking, it falls off the mantel
Poor design doesn't work since Its curved inward.
WILL NOT sit on mantle. Not flat, it is curved inwards so will not sit on any mantle. Also not deep enough to balance itself or hold anything. It will barely sit on a shelf.

The hook is curved inward. So it won't sit on my mantle without falling over.
