Great Sales, Disappointing Shipping Practices

I purchased several Christmas gifts from Macy’s this season and overall liked the items. The sales were excellent and made gift shopping much more affordable, which I truly appreciated. The quality of most items was good for the price, though the t-shirt material wasn’t the best. It will do, but it didn’t stand out. What was most disappointing, however, was the shipping. Out of six items purchased, each one arrived in a separate shipment. This felt extremely wasteful and inefficient, especially during such a busy shipping season. The excess packaging, added cost, and unnecessary strain on the delivery system make this approach feel unsustainable and out of touch. Because of this experience, I’m unlikely to purchase again. I prefer to support businesses that are mindful of sustainability and more responsible shipping practices.

Meowy Christmas

I’m impressed by the details and quality of this glass ornament. I think it’s cute that the kitty is dressed up in a Santa suit. Sitting on a tree is a nice detail. I like that it adds texture and interest being an actual bottle brush tree.

Cute! Good Quality, But…

Why is the cat sitting on a tiny sideways tree? The tree is glued on so I carefully peeled it off. It’s much cuter without the tree! But, if you decide to try this, be careful because it is glass. You can also use some solvent like Goo Gone to remove it. My recommendation for the manufacturer is to not use that tree next time!
