Love the Glasses - Hate Macy's service
Love the glasses but Macy's shorted my order one box. I ordered the glasses a month before Christmas and after two weeks I was told the two boxes I ordered and paid for had shipped. When I received the order, they only shipped one box of glasses and marked that the order was complete. They really need to improve their customer service as when I called to report the missed box of glasses, the person with a strong accent and was hard to understand told me there were a good supply of the boxes available at a store an hour away. They credited me the sale price and told me they couldn't have them ready for me to pick up but again, there was a good supply of boxes of champagne flutes at that store. I then drove to that store, looked for 30 minutes for them and couldn't find them. Waiting in a long line for a teller, during the Christmas season, and she told me there were none to be had in all Washington State and even if they were there I wouldn't have gotten the same black Friday sale price I had when I first ordered them. Anyhow, the next Monday, the next available time customers service was open, I called customer service again and I finally was able to order the box at the sale price but didn't have them in time for my holiday party. They say they have shipped, I just hope they are in good shape when they arrive for what I've gone through. Hint, when you call Macy's customer service phone, you need to say "Customer Service Rep" multiple times before you get to talk to someone. If you don't you'll be on a continuous automated loop. They really need better service all around. I used to love Macy's. I'm wondering if they are in trouble financially. Anyhow, love the glasses, hate the service I received from Macy's. Hopefully I will get the correct shipment in the end.
