Defective bottle?

I love the scent of this lavender essential oil and using it in my new Ellia diffuser. However, I believe I received a defective bottle. It did not have the safety cap mentioned in the description and shown in the picture (confirmed by another bottle of Ellia essential oil which does have the safety cap and they look completely different). When I open the bottle there is a solid stick attached to it (like a bottle of nail polish but no brush at the end). I thought maybe it was supposed to be a dropper but it's solid and hard. So I end up having to pour the oil into the diffuser (the top of the bottle is completely open); which is fine but then I don't know exactly how much I'm putting in compared to the "5 to 7 drops" it recommends. I also have a different issue with the eucalyptus bottle of Ellia oil but will write a review on that product's page. Strange that the only two bottles of Ellia essential oils I received both have issues?

Smells Amazing!

This lavender essential oil smells amazing. Only a few drops are needed to make your whole house smell wonderful. The lavender scent is very relaxing.
