The unit was fairly easy to assemble for one person. It works perfectly in the bedroom for books and storage baskets.

There is plenty of room on this shelf to put your belongings. It has given me the space I needed to help keep the clutter off my kitchen counter. I recommend finding decorative baskets to put on the shelves.

This shelving unit comes disassembled so I would recommend being prepared with patience and a partner to help with assembly. The kit comes with all the necessary hardware and an allen key to put it together. I highly recommend using a ratcheting screwdriver or powered drill to make things easier as the screws are quite difficult to fully tighten by hand. These shelves are nice and sturdy once the unit is fully assembled and all screws have been tightened down. There is ample space on each of the 5 shelves to accommodate books, tchotchkis and indoor plants easily. I do highly recommend anchoring the unit to a wall for added stability. I would definitely repurchase this unit.
