Excellent for imaginitive playtime

My four year old has a fascination with fire trucks and fire poles lately, so I knew he'd be thrilled to open the box on this toy. Sure enough, he was very excited to see it! I appreciated that the packaging was easy to open and didn't require scissors or have tight plastic that could slice me. It's an easy punch-out cardboard bottom and a simple plastic screw. At first I wasn't able to determine exactly how the features on this toy worked (what the yellow button did), but after a few minutes of play, the kids quickly discovered that it makes the car spin down on the pole when you have it up at the top. They absolutely loved that! It's also nice that this fire station attaches easily to other Hot Wheels tracks. The kids decided to build a whole city to put their fire station in, using some older tracks, and it fit perfectly. The set seems fairly durable. My 4 year old was rough on it, and the blue "water" gate popped off once, but it was easy to snap back into place. Overall, this kept my kids' attention and gave them lots of imaginative play time.

Fun!!

My son really loved the hot wheels addition Fire Station. He loves Fire Stations and this was a perfect addition to their collection to play with his cars. He had so much fun spinning the car very fast!

It works for what is claims

For a kid like mine who loves to creat pretend play stories, this with the police station had a lot of ideas together. It's a good value for kids who loves cars and rescue teams.

Small yet fun

My kids really liked this addition to our set. The fire house is such a fun idea but it could use a better locking mechanism to hold the car up at the top. You have to really pull up on it to lock it into place rather than it locking when you get to the top.

Firefighting Fun!

This product was received through the Play Rate Review program and this little fire station is a necessary addition to any little one's HotWheels collection. Normally toys are played with for a few days and then quickly lose my child's attention. This toy continues to be in heavy rotation. It fits with the HotWheels tracks with multiple connection spots and the features are great. My little one LOVED the bell and the spinning fire pole. I would recommend this playset for any HotWheels fan!
