Not what they used to be!
I’ve been buying the Macy’s hotel collection sheets for a long, long time. They used to be really great quality sheets, but the last couple of years the quality has suffered yet the price is still the same or more. These are not what they used to be and they do not last long . Just beware.
Don;t Waste Your Money on Anything Else!
I love these sheets so much. I have learned my lesson when I tried other sheets and immediately had to give them away to Goodwill. The Hotel Collection is my go to - no hype, they fit perfectly, they are smooth and comfortable.
High End Supima
This thread count coupled with the weave gives you not a flimsy soft sheet, but one of substance that still retains its characteristic softness. Long fiber cotton also doesn't pill and is stronger and smooth. It's that smooth, tight, yet breathable weave of long fibers that makes supima cotton the most renowned for luxury sheets. How do I know this? I got tired of substandard sheets trying to make you believe they are superior just because of high thread count. It's not the thread count alone. You need a high grade of cotton.
Worth the Money
These sheets look great and the so soft. I liked the slouch when first purchased them that these are my second set. They wash nd dry great. I highly recommend them
Hotel Collection Brand
For an expensive brand like Hotel Collection from Macy’s, I was very disappointed that the fitted sheet developed a hole after only two months of regular use. The quality does not match the price.
Discolored/faded
They were faded on All edges where they had been folded in the vinyl paging , I checked all packages on the Pearland Store shelves all were faded , so I ordered a pair online and they were faded also. I returned to Pearland Store and asked them to remove them from the shelves! very disappointing For Macy's high end bedding!
Size of king size pillowc has changed!
After years of buying Macky's bed linen I ordered some pillowcases online. however, they were far too big and I returned them. All my old king size measured 36" and these were 40"
