will not wear well even after lint stops shedding

I bought these rugs two years ago and they held up pretty well except the non-slip backing wore off and I rotated them with alternate border colors because standing on white centers showed off a lot of traffic debris, especially in my husband's bath. They fluffed up well and surface debris was removed, but over time the loft was lost. This year I am just getting Turkish towel mats and if your feet get cold on the floor I suggest slippers.
