I am from out of town and was a Macy’s on Saturday to purchase a flannel bed set, down blanket and a mattress pad. I bought a few other items as well. I got the bed set I wanted. The clerk told me that they did not have down blankets but that they had comforters and that they were very warm. So I decided to get one instead of the down blanket. I also asked for a mattress pad. When I got home and was ready to make up my bed, I realized that I had two comforters so I knew that I had to go back to the store the next day for a return and exchange. I had decided to return the two comforters, get the mattress pad and look elsewhere for a down blanket. The following day, Sunday I parked in the pick-up parking, got down and asked the closest clerk to help me get down and take to houseware’s the two comforters. She graciously did so. I asked her for her name. Barbara then took the time to help me with return and exchange. She then told me that she had a comforter on her bed that was both light and warm and suggested the Hotel Collection line as being the best option. She also suggested a duvet cover which she did not have but looked online to find the right one for me. She took the time I needed to make the right decisions. She let her co-worker in her department down stairs know that she was helping a customer upstairs yet the manager was concerned. I asked Barbara if I could speak to the manager to explain things. She understood but I don’t think it was clear that because of Barbara I was able to get a comforter and duvet cover which I would have not gotten otherwise. Barbara even took the comforter and mattress pad to the car. She made a difficult return (to me) easy and fun and helped with purchases I was pleased with. I got everything I deeded and was so happy that I did not have to keep looking elsewhere. The shopping was complete. Barbara is a real asset to Macy’s!!!

Love this duvet cover! It is very elegant, beautiful and brightens up our bedroom so much more than our previous duvet cover. I did love our old one - which I also purchased at Macy's - probably 15 years ago or but it was time for a change.

I have two other Duvet's from the Hotel collection and love them--they are thicker and don't wrinkle. This one is think like a cotton sheet and wrinkles very easily --I will problem return it. I looked at the descriptions for the other two I have and this one and they are the same so no idea why its different material. The pattern and color are exactly what I wanted.
