Perfect book for preschoolers

My preschool grandkids (age 5) loved this story. The illustrations are wonderful and the kids got into it cheering the snowman on in the chase. Fun!

Cute Holiday Book

I read this book with my grandchildren (ages 5 and 7). My grandson brought it from the library, and we read it as a family. It was a lovely memory. From the adult view: I think this was adorable. It had cute memories from Frosty to Olaf. It brought holiday cheer to me from past and present, making it a fun experience. From the child view: The kids seemed to really enjoy the illustrations and the rhyming text. They connected less with Frosty and more with Olaf, which made me giggle. It was a sign of the times, for sure. The adventurous game of chase appealed to them, as well, but it didn't hold their attention well as some of books we have read together. I think this will be a bit subjective. I think if you have a calmer child who enjoys reading, they will engage more in this title. My active grandson struggled a bit to get through it before he disengaged to move onto something else. We all really liked it, but it might be best as a bedtime tale.

Enjoyable

What a delightful book. Before you even open the first page, you and your child can enjoy the tactile cover that is raised and feels like snow. You and your child will be giggling at what the snowman does to avoid the children and be happy at what the snowman does in the end. The cute rhyming taunts by the snowman will definitely be enjoyed. 5/5 This books was given to me by Sourcebooks Early Reads in exchange for an honest review.
