works well, but I miss not having a glass screen

The OmniBook works well. I miss the glass screen that my old HP Envy had, but they don’t seem to make laptops with glass screens anymore.

Easy to set up and use

For the first time ever I didn't have computer support to transfer my old laptop to my new one. Using PCMover I found the process to be easy, even though it took almost 20 hours! Once my laptop was moved I only had to download my printer drivers and software to make the new system work like the old one. I am VERY impressed with the speed and ease of use for this system.

Like My New HP Laptop

About the only problem (Fault) so far---is the placement of the laptop's "touch pad" location...Really causes problems when typing in messages, whatever, etc. One keeps "Fat-Fingering" touchpad and resets the location of the typing pointer etc. causing re-typing errors and numerous re-typing efforts!!!!!!!!!!! mcclelland051

Speed is good

I wanted a computer that was fast and I got it. No waiting for emails to open, excel spreadsheets open right up. Speed was my number one criteria and I’m thrilled with my new laptop.

My HP OmnoBook5

Does the laptop do everything I need? Absolutely! However I am not able to customize the laptop the way I desire which is annoying. I can not rename the laptop no matter how man times I've tried. I also can not customize the back ground to my liking as all the themes see pixelated, they don't look good at all. It does what I need and that's fine. I just want it do everything it is supposed to do. I would love it if someone could contact me about this as well.

Asks for a lot of permissions

With the new AI technology this laptop is constantly asking me to approve data being sent out, I do not want data being sent out, so I decline the permissions, but it keeps asking. I need the bigger screen, don't really need the AI, I have other platforms for that.
