I really wanted these and missed the opportunity a few weeks ago to get them for cheaper and in my size. When I saw them come back for a little more and a size smaller, I took a chance and bought them. I figured if they don't fit, I'll just return. Well, I wear a size 9 and got the size 8 and with a thin crew sock, my toe is right at the end. The toebox is wide enough that it doesn't hurt my feet too much. I walked around my house in them just to make sure and I think I'd be able to wear these outside and run errands and be just fine. I should also mention that my feet are problematic. I have small bunions on both sides of my foot (big toe and little toe) on BOTH feet. Usually, shoes that have no give (like a rubber rain boot) are torture on my feet even in the correct size because they rub those sensitive spots and aggravate them and make them bigger. Since these boots have the neoprene sock liner, they actually add a layer of bouncy cushion all around the foot, so there is no rubbing on those sensitive spots and my foot feels supported like a gentle hug. I was worried when I read some reviews elsewhere that the neoprene liner actually makes the boot feel smaller. I was already worried about getting them in a size smaller, but the fit is actually snuggly to me. I don't feel like they'll make my feet hurt and they are lightweight and super flexible too. If I'd gotten them in my usual size 9, they might have been too loose and I don't like my feet slipping around inside boots. So taking a chance actually worked out for me! Keep that in mind if you're unsure about whether you should stay TTS. For some, maybe they should. For others, like myself, sizing down is OK.
