Violation of ADA Title III

I placed this order on December 25 and paid nearly the cost of the item itself for expedited shipping. Even the incorrect item, a medium instead of the 4XL ordered, arrived more than a week later, making the express shipping meaningless. After delivery, customer service transferred me between multiple agents, made refund promises that were never honored, and ultimately refused to send the correct item unless the original was returned in person. Macy’s was clearly informed that the recipient is wheelchair bound. Requiring a disabled individual to arrange transportation to correct Macy’s own shipping error, while refusing reasonable alternatives such as carrier pickup or direct replacement shipment, constitutes a failure to provide reasonable accommodation under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This places an unlawful and discriminatory burden on customers with disabilities and reflects serious ADA compliance concerns. Completely unacceptable.
