My 6 year old daughter LOVES this book!

When my 4 year old daughter heard about Helen Keller, she was really fascinated by the obstacles she overcame, and I found this book for her. Even though it was long for a 4 year old, she loved it and we continue to read it today now that she's 6. Now her younger brother likes it too. The book does a great job of handling hard topics and puts in a little humor to make kids laugh and relate to young Helen. We've bought another one in this series and will continue to buy them, because they make such imaginative use of the cartoon format and they inspire kids with historical role models.
