Good alternative to old version

I found this after my favorite INC high waist pointe pants were discontinued. The material of these is different, but I would say a bit nicer for work. The sizing is a bit larger than I expected. In the old style I wore size 16, usually I am size 18-20 in general. In these I bought XXL and they fit well but I am going to try an XL. The ankles are not as tight as the previous version, which is fine as I wear this to work. I would say these are a good alternative, you just need to size down. I didn’t have any issues with length and I am 5’9.
