My first moto jacket!

My first moto jacket! I like the velvet material and the style. I have the green and port colors. The material is a bit too shiny for daytime, but I wear the jackets then anyway. I've gotten many compliments on them. They look best either fully zipped or zipped up about two-thirds of the way. I don't really like the shoulder snaps. When I'm using my backpack purse, the straps tend to rub against the snap area and often cause the snaps to unsnap, but that is a minor nuisance. I wish this jacket came in petite sizes. The sleeves are a bit too long for me. Also, while I think the zippers on the sleeves are a nice touch, I wish they were on the top of the sleeve and not on the bottom because they make too much noise when I'm sitting down at a desk or table. And, I would have liked to have had more color selections, such as crimson red, navy blue, and dark purple. I have not had a chance to wash the jackets yet, but I'm pleased that the label says they machine washable.

Love this jacket

I purchased this jacket for an outing with my friends. Everyone at the function kept asking where did I get the jacket. The jacket looked super nice and caught the attention of a lot of people. I love this jacket. It fits very nice.

The velvet was too shiny, and there is too much hardwear. Also, it seemed bulky and made me look even more topheavy. Not a good look for me.

Great jacket for the price

I really like the jacket - black velvet was sharp and could be worn with a lot of different looks. However, in order to fit properly everywhere else, I ended up with sleeves that were too long. I'm 5'3" and often have the problem of needing to shorten/tack sleeves. Since there are cute zippers at the cuffs it would be a big project and it would ruin the look. Sadly it's going back. If you're taller or having longer arms, it's a great wardrobe addition.

Beautiful, but some minor flaws

I have always wanted a green velvet moto jacket, and Macy's delivered! I am about 5'4", 125 lbs., 34D, and the small fits perfectly. The fabric has some give so you can move freely while still having a fitted look. The green is a very pretty forest green. The photo here does not do it justice, but I couldn't get the color right on my phone either. The reason I am not giving it 5-stars is because of the hardware. The zippers are not made of a very good metal, and even though my jacket came in factory packaging, the zipper pulls all look a bit beaten up. One in particular has big gouges in the metal. The jacket also has two decorative snaps on the collar that do not snap to anything. Why not make them functional and include the other half of the snap? I am going to order another and see if the zippers come in better condition because I love the jacket. I have noticed that that materials and craftsmanship of Macy's brands like INC and Alfani has slipped over the years.

Beautiful Color

Beautiful and the details are lovely. I always have to get a large because of my bust, which causes the arms to run long in most jackets. This is no different but still ok. I'm so impressed. I bought 2 colors.
