These are great shorts. For those saying that the material changed, they simply ordered the wrong item. ID still makes the "soft" bike shorts. These are very much an active wear material, good for the gym, biking, etc. It's a substantial material, not at all see through, and I feel comfortable wearing them for rigorous exercise.
