I'm Not Scared, You're Scared by Seth Meyers
From the incomparable host of Late Night with Seth Meyers comes a hilarious new picture book. When you're a bear who is easily scared, it's hard to have friends. Fortunately, Bear has one: Rabbit, who is very brave. One day, Rabbit urges Bear to face his fears and embark on an adventure together. However, things don't entirely go as planned, and the two friends learn the true meaning of bravery. Equal parts hilarious and touching, this funny tale of adventure, bravery, and daring rescue will both inspire the adventurous spirit in all of us and make us laugh along the way. With the unfailingly witty voice of one of America's favorite comedians, Seth Meyers's debut picture book is bound for hilarity history.

Excellent but this Jackal has a couple Corrections
An absolutely delightful first children’s book from the acclaimed _Late Night with Seth Meyers_ host, but this regular viewer of Seth Meyers (a “jackal” in the _LNSM_ cinematic universe) has a couple caveats (“Corrections” in the _LNSM_ universe). 0. The dust jacket advertises the book as being appropriate for readers age 3 and up, but the level of vocabulary and grammatical complexity of some of the sentence structure used in the book are really not appropriate for readers less (fewer?) than 4 years old. Unless the book is intended for children of viewers of Seth’s late-night show, who I expect are smarter, more highly educated liberal elites compared to viewers of the other late-night shows and thus whose children are on average probably functioning at a higher level of reading than their peers. 1. While the font used in the book is ok for 4-year-olds, the type font size is IMHO too small to be comfortable to read for most 3-year-olds. On the other hand, Seth’s demographic are more likely to be college-educated eggheads with kids who read more books on average than their peers, and thus may be more acclimated to reading books with smaller type sizes and denser print. Other than these two minor Corrections, this first children’s offering by Mr. Meyers is an outstanding book that answers the question, if Seth Meyers wrote a children’s book, what would it be like? It’s pretty much what you would expect a first children’s book by the affable Seth Meyers to be like. Hope to see more awesome books by Mr. Meyers in the future!

Yes! Yes! YES!
I was already smiling before I opened the book. The illustrations are silly, the writing is hilarious...it is Laugh Out Loud on every page. But there's more to the story than that. It is a story about knowing limitations, friendship, finding courage to overcome fears, helping others and having pride in oneself. I can't wait to share it with others. Love love love it!
