Beautifully illustrated and designed! Perfect activity book for screen-free time and to practice brain skills. I also loved that everything was related to Scripture and learning more about God/building your faith. The one down side would be there were not very many STEM experiments. But as an activity book to use with elementary aged kids at a restaurant or in the car instead of a tablet - it's great! I received a free copy of this book from Tommy Nelson in exchange for my honest review.

Fantastic Activity Book!
The Indescribable Activity Book for Kids was written by Louie Giglio and illustrated by Nicola Anderson and Lynsey Wilson. Summary: This activity book is designed to complement the Indescribable devotional series. It contains more than 150 fun activities and includes scripture, puzzles, word searches, crosswords, drawing activities, STEM experiments and more. Many of the activities also include page numbers at the top directing readers back to a corresponding devotion from Indescribable, How Great Is Our God, and The Wonder of Creation for a more in-depth study on that topic. My Thoughts: We are very big fans of this entire devotional series. We have used each of the devotionals as part of our daily homeschool devotional times over the years (we’ve done Indescribable twice!), and they are wonderful. In fact, we just finished The Wonder of Creation this past school year. Adding an activity book to this series was such a fantastic idea. My nine-year-old son is really enjoying the book so far, and I absolutely love some of the drawings he has done! There are so many fun projects in this book too. Here are just some I am looking forward to doing with my son soon: -making a pizza that shows all the Earth’s layers -the ten second marshmallow game -crystal snowflakes -a glow stick experiment And I absolutely love the missions where kids practice having a heart like God’s and doing things to bless other people. This book is packed with a great variety of engaging activities, fun and colorful illustrations, and best of all, it points kids back to God and His Word. I highly recommend this book. It is a wonderful companion to the devotionals and would be perfect as an addition to any child’s devotional time, homeschool science activities, and just for fun! I would like to thank Thomas Nelson for providing me with a digital copy for my review, AND an actual physical copy as well! Thank you so very much!

My son has enjoyed the mazes and other activities.
In this book, my son has enjoyed the mazes, hidden pictures, memory games and scavenger hunts. I had planned on doing one activity per day as part of homeschool, but my son has been completing them at a faster rate. He sees it more as a fun activity than 'school work'. At the top of the page, the devotional number is listed, if you want to read it along with the activity. (The devotionals are individual books that were published before this activity book.) While we already enjoyed reading the devotionals in the three book series, we like to revisit the devotional to see what all he remembers from the previous reading. Of course, the activity pages can be enjoyed without owning the devotional series. The pages are thick and suitable for writing; we haven't experienced any bleed through on the next page. The index gives you an alphabetical listing of activity type, devotionals, and subject, so that you can use the book in your homeschool studies or refer back to something that your kiddo is learning about on his own. (This is not a book created for homeschool, but for all children who enjoy learning about the world God has created.) I would love to see the publisher come out with more activity books.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book!
My family has loved Louie Giglio's devotionals for kids, with Indescribable being our favorite! So I was thrilled when I was asked to review an advanced copy of his new Indescribable Activity Book that pairs with not only the Indescribable devotional, but also with How Great Is Our God and The Wonder of Creation! This activity book keeps the kids' hands, minds, and hearts engaged! Each page features some sort of game/puzzle/experiment along with a quick and relevant paragraph tying in a Scripture reference to the activity at hand. We are also given the book title and page number for the corresponding devotion! My oldest is 7 and has absolutely loved using this activity book alongside our devotional! I didn't see a recommended age, but it seems varied enough to reach a range of ages, from 5-10. (Although there are a few activities, such as a coloring or maze page, that my 4 year old can do!) If your family enjoys Louie Giglio's other works, I'm sure they will enjoy this newest addition to the Indescribable family, too! My thanks to the publisher for the book in exchange for an honest review!

Fun, Educational, and Faith-building!
This faith-based activity book has so much more than word finds and mazes! Creative 6- to 10-year-olds will love the “would you rather” questions and logic grids, as well as activities that encourage outdoor exploration. I love that kids can engage their minds and their hands to learn about God and science. Plus, each activity is linked to a devotion in the Indescribable series (though kids will get a lot out of this activity book all on its own). What a fun way to help kids grow in faith and understand God’s amazing world! Thank you to the publisher for an advanced copy of this book. No review was required, and all opinions are wholeheartedly my own.

Perfect for My Grandson's Game of Stump Grandma
I am very pleased to review another book in the "Indescribable" series by Louie Giglio, this time an activity book with 150+ mind-stretching and faith-building puzzles. Plus -- STEM experiments about God and science. My oldest grandson has a game he likes to play called Stump Grandma. It's right up there with Stump The Parents. After reading the other books in this series, he is ready for some new data for his favorite stumping games. With this book, he can add facts about the platypus, the elephant shrew, rogue planets (and more!) -- all while completing fun activity pages. That is, if he can grab the book before his younger brother sees all the mazes (his current pastime.) A+ review from all three generations in my family.

Love this book that makes science learning fun
Indescribable Activity Book for Kids by Louie Giglio with Tama Fortner is a cool interactive activity book for children ages six to ten. This book has 165 pages of activities in it. There are mazes, puzzles, logic games, STEM projects, Simple Science Projects as well as ideas for helping people in the community. It is full of fun and learning activies that are both big and small, some are active and some are more laid-back. All of them would be great to use at home with children during summer vacation and they could be used along with homeschool lessons. This book also includes God alongside the science so children focus on faith as well as learning. The illustrations done by Nicola Anderson and Lynsey Wilson are bright and colorful. They would definitely draw a child in.I also like that there is an index in the back if you or the child are wanting to focus on something specific. I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions within this review are my own.

Great fun!
I had a print copy but it migrated to Cleveland with my nine year old granddaughter! I still have the digital copy for a little while and it is just not quite as much fun. The print copy has the same activities and learning opportunities but can also be hidden under the covers with an Itty Bitty Book Lite and a pencil. Love it! The illustrations by Nicola Anderson and Lynsey Wilson are fun, simple, colorful, and delightful. Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone. I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from Thomas Nelson: CHILDREN'S, Thomas Nelson via NetGalley. Thank you!
