Measuring 36" tall including a decorative arch, this white metal safety gate conveniently helps contain children and pets while complementing your home decor. Our hold-open and Auto-Close technologies add convenience as you navigate your home. When opened more than 90 degrees, the door will stay open. When engaged less than 90 degrees, the door will close. A variety of included extensions help you configure the ideal setup for spaces from 29 to 48 inches wide. Install it in doorways or hallways quickly easily using the included no-drill pressure mount system with adhesive wall cups that help protect your walls from damage. Or use it at the top of the stairs with included hardware required for safe stairway installation. Recommended tools for hardware installation not included: Drill, Phillips-head screwdriver, pencil, measuring tape. Note: Gate will appear as though the door is off-center when taken out of the package until you mount it into the doorframe and tighten the bolts according to instructions.

  • The screws snapped right off and are now stuck in our banister

  • 16” wide in some are of the gate openings. If you measure from the plastic that sticks out till the knob there the door opens is exactly 16”.

Perfect to keep kids out of kitchen while cooking

I love it. I don’t have stairs but I do use it so my toddler and my six month old stays out of the kitchen while I’m cooking. It’s not complicated to set up and it’s heavy duty. I just love it. It helps.

Don’t buy brands that don’t service their products

They do NOT sell the connector pins so if you lose one during moving, you need to buy a new GATE. That is tough on a family with little ones.

Great gate

The perfect gate! Finally something I can use to keep the kids and some adults out of my workroom! It works great. Easy to use. Easy to set up and strong. Holds to the wall great! Stays up even when my littles shake it to try to get in!

Absolutely loving this gate!

We are SO happy with this baby gate! We have it in a doorway blocking off part of the house and it keeps my twin toddlers out, making it so much easier to manage keeping them out of that side of the house! It’s a very easy installation, sleek design, and is sturdy enough to keep babies and dogs out!

Good quality

This is a nice gate. It is as the dimensions are stated. It does have a bottom bar so not good for top of stairway. Good for other places and doorways though. No issues with it so far. Just check your space.

Safe and secure

The Doorway keeps my baby safe and secure. Well made quality, design and very durable . It was very easy to assemble . This gate is perfect for keeping my baby , toddler and dog safe while still maintaining an open flow in the household. Highly recommended!

Handy to have

This gate is great because it allows walk through and is great keeping children or pets contained or separated as needed. It’s well built and gets the job done quickly and easily. Easy to use in a pinch. I liked it for separating the dog from our toddler when the baby was still wobbly and unsure on their feet. Now it will be used to help prevent our crazy puppy from running out the door. Love it.

The Doorway 48W Series Gate

This gate is amazing! It is a total lifesaver if you have a toddler that is on the move and you need to set some boundaries for safety. The design is sleek and the bright white color works well with the design of most modern homes. It was incredibly easy to assemble without any assistance and comes with all the tools and hardware along with easy to follow directions to put it together. I love that I now have a safe and secure barrier to keep my toddler from accessing the stairs. I also love that this has a nice swing door for easy access for adults and older children to use.
