Fabric pills too much

Super comfy and I thought it was going to be one of my favorite pants but the legs are pilling like crazy already! I haven't even washed it yet and the inner thigh is already pilling and coming apart. I was planning to purchase the matching sweater but I bet the problems will be the same.
