I love my Roomba! It's like a pet to me now. Sometimes I would watch how it cleans an area. Even though it doesn't seem to clean in a very systematic way, but it does the job anyway. If I want to make sure it cleans a certain area, I will close all doors around it to keep it inside so that it doesn't wander to another room before it finishes cleaning that area. I'm so glad I got it! I hate vacuuming because all the vacuum cleaners are too heavy for a petite person like me. This iRobot is a savior! It's the best Christmas present I've ever bought for myself! One thing buyers need to know is that it doesn't work on long-haired shag rugs. I still don't know how to clean that rug in my living room. Help?

Best invention, I turn on when I leave for work and when I get home my floors are clean, this is great.l
LOVE IT
Have a cat and a dog. This does a great job picking up their hair. I am not a fan of vacuuming, but this makes it totally doable. Love being able to start it before I leave for work and come home to a house that is done.

I've been tossing around the idea of a Roomba for a couple of years, but finally purchased one. I wasn't sure how it would work, but found myself following it around in awe the first time in wonder about how it is able to navigate around the house. It does a great job with good coverage as it goes through its cycle. As a very busy professional during the week, finally, I'm able to vacuum the house while drinking coffee in bed on a Saturday morning...hooray!!!
Great for pet hair
Roomba is very effective at picking up pet hair and it doesn't miss any spots. It is a little loud but we run it at night and with the tv on in the bedroom you can't hear it.

This was recommend by our daughter since we installed wood flooring in our kitchen and hallway. She has one an told us it would be easier then dusty with a dust mop

Seems to do the job
I would give this 5 stars as it works great, and the evidence is in how much dust is collected each time I use it - a lot. But.. it's hard to know if it gets every area. It doesn't every time. The hair does seem to get caught up on the ends of the brush spool, so that you have to cut it off. Some days it focuses on specific areas, other days other areas. I wanted it for under the bed type cleaning, unfortunately it doesn't go under my living room furniture as it's too high. Overall, very happy with it, but it doesn't always go into the dock when it's finished; sometimes I have to push the button to do so. Customer service is great to work with, I had a few emails with them when I purchased it and they were very helpful.
