It doesn't charge and battery doesn't last

This iRobot is one of the worst thing. It doesn't want to charge the battery doesn't last.

It is okay at cleaning but has a few problems

Not a very smart navigation system. If you have closed floor plan it tends to get stuck in the another room and run out of battery before it can find the charging base. Cleans in a random pattern so it misses some spots. Works pretty well in small rooms with a barrier. Doesn't work well in high traffic areas such as our kitchen or living room where it can get tangled in a shoelace or a lamp power cord. Does a good job at cleaning deep the carpet has good suction. It easily sucks up larger objects and food as well. battery lasts long. However its motors are Very loud even though I have been greasing them.

We found it helpful for the home base to be in a neutral location to ensure the Roomba always has a clear and easy path back to the base. Before sending the Roomba to clean, a quick walk through of the cleaning space should be done to ensure there isn't anything that you don't want the Roomba to pick on the floor. In regards to the pick up performance, maintenance is vital.The extractor rollers and end caps on the rollers should be removed and cleaned at least once a week for homes without pets and twice a week for homes with pets. Also, the Roomba shouldn't be louder than any stand up vacuum despite the serious strength. If you find the Roomba getting louder, this could be a sign that your Roomba needs some TLC. I would buy again but the new model with self cleaning

My husband had vacuum the area the day before with our central vac. I ran Rumba and I had to empty the bin 4 times. Love it.

Still love my Roomba!

This is my 3rd review on the SAME iRobot. I received this as a Christmas gift from hubby and kids way back in 2013... BEST GIFT EVER! this vacuum has about a million miles on her and is still going strong. I did have to replace the battery once about 4 hrs ago. I due maintenance on her to keep her running great. We have 3 dogs, one is a border collie and sheds terrible. I clean the brushes weekly and Get new ones yearly. I change the filter as needed but with mine I sometimes just wash it and leave it dry. I take it apart...pull out the brushes, take off the front wheel, remove the dust bin and clean away. I dont take it completely apart, I shake it and use a butter knife to get up in there and get all the fuzz out. I will admit, since she has so many miles she is getting a little more stubborn. She gets hung up on the floor vents more often, hits the furniture a little harder than she used to and is a little more loud, and will on occasion miss a spot....but for the most part, she still does a great job. 6 years later and I'm still very pleased!

I would consider other brands before jumping to conclusions.

Great product first couple weeks, no problems. Now using three days a week and set up on app on phone. It never finishes a job. Never returns to home base, constantly searching for it due to dead battery. I'd say berry poor performance for the money spent.

Love it!!!

I love this little guy!!! I have a 4 level home. I initially thought that I wouldn't be able to use it on different levels due to it's "learned area system" but I found that it still is usable. So wooo hooo!!!!
