I am so disappointed in this product! I wish I would have returned it immediately because it is a waste of money. I have a golden retriever so I have to vacuum daily - I got this in hopes that I could use it on the off days I don't vacuum but it leaves clumps of hair everywhere. It does not pick up crumbs either - it literally does nothing but leave more of a mess and I end up vacuuming after to clean up.

4 years agoNot worth the cost. Other vacuum robots are better.
After almost 2.5 years of ownership, this robot was somewhat a waste of money. It had limited use and still requires a lot of upkeep. Spent more time resolving its issues then it actually vacuuming. Will be moving on to other brands.

If I were able to give zero stars to this product and company, I would. I posted a review earlier about the dreaded error 26 to which iRobot was quick to email a response to correct the issue and also to consider changing my review. After a few emails with customer support, I was sent a complimentary replacement cleaning head. I thought that iRobot was supportive and was willing to back their product. Unfortunately, after a few cleaning rounds with the newly installed cleaning head, the robot threw the error 26 AGAIN!!! So disappointed that this is what $700+ buys and that the only fix is to replace a $70 part and even that doesn't fix the issue. IRobot knows of this issue as it has been mentioned countless times in these reviews but they are not fixing the issue. I regret buying the dirt disposal accessory too, though it works amazingly because now I am stuck with a product that I can't use.

Noisy, batteries dont last have replaced twice and needs another now. Constantly going where he is programed not to go

4 years agoBeware of Error 26 on day 366
We have liked having our i7 with the base station in our living room, however like many other reviewers we got the dreaded Error 26 the DAY AFTER our warranty expired. I managed to clean the cleaning head and get it to work again, but the same error has come back several times. I expected more from a $700 vacuum cleaner, and $70 for a new cleaning head is unacceptable to me. If iRobot is going to charge this much for a product with well known issues like error 26, the warranty should be like 3-5 years.

4 years agoDO NOT BUY!!!!
This is the first ever review I have written, never expected it to be a negative one. We bought our roomba on 1/13/21 and we just got the error 26. You would think that iRobot would have better customer service but all i was told was "Unfortunately, iRobot's warranty covers up to one year after purchasing the device, so we can't mark your case under warranty. But don't worry, I'm here to guide you through the next step to the resolution." And what are those next steps...to spend another $70 on a new cleaning head. I paid $800 for this when I bought it and i expect it to last longer than 16 months. End of rant. Just save your money and buy a $15 swiffer that will last longer.

4 years agoCleaning module WILL fail and company WONT make it right
Product is barely a year old and has had a major component fail. This is not a "wear and tear" issue. So now we have to spend $100 to replace the part, because the warranty is out. Note that nearly two hundred people have complained of this same issue, meaning the part is poorly made. Look up the Cleaning Head Module and read reviews. Service is no loner answering me. FWIW, the robot does fine at cleaning - but having to spend a ton of money so soon is unacceptable. Company refuses to make it right.

It's A Pretty Good Vacuum
I use it daily to vacuum. Definitely keeps the cat and dog hair down. I would recommend buying this with the self empty container as it's a pain to constantly empty bin. I don't like how small things like piece of paper or plastic can clog this so easily. Have to always check before vacuuming. It's a great time saver though and I'm glad I bought it.
