Gasoline Smelling Slippers..

I ordered three pairs of these slippers two in my size ( red, 2 black) and had to return both pairs for me the next day,( yes, return--exception to every rule) because they smelled like GASOLINE, even before I open the box. This delivery had the room I put them in smelling horrible ( like gasoline) and was making us sick.. I open the box and it was overwhelming. The manager at Macy's was nice, plus everyone at the return desk could smell this odor. I just got the pair I ordered for someone else and they do not have any odor. They were shipped separately from the others. I know whoever packaged those slippers at the store smelled that horrible odor and felt it was okay to shipped them (probable thinking Last Act no Return) Again, exception to every rule ... having my home smelling like a gas station with a leakage. Careless and Shameful. I'm giving the product two stars because the third pair was fine and the manager at Macy's was accomodating.

I purchased several pairs of color red for Christmas gifts. On sale rock bottom price good quality. Pretty and cosy. I purchased a pair for myself as well. Go one size up. Runs a bit small.
