Great Book for School Counseling
I first read this book while teaching in a PreK classroom for students with developmental delayed. I used this book to talk about recognizing differences and overcoming challenges. Sometimes it is difficult to get through the day. Sometimes we wish we could be someone else but, if we take the time to consider, we see that everyone faces different challenges too. Maybe being who we are is not that bad after all. The illustrations are adorable and the text is easy read too. Can't say enough good about it! When I became a mom, this book became a staple in our nightly reading. My daughters loved PJ as much as I do. 25 years later, I am still reading this book to my classes as a school counselor and at home with my great- nieces.
