Disappointed

The comforter came with frays and pulls in the material. I expected a lot better quality for the price. The picture is darker than the actual color. It's mostly just gold. The "brownish " colors are actually more tan. Very disappointing. Now the price is even higher and none in local stores. Will be returning

Fabulous when used as shown

The bedspread is beautiful and for most people it would be a solid 5 star purchase! I have a decorative metal frame bed and use only the comforter, so for my purposes I wish the comforter had some calm areas in it...areas of plain color and wasn't quite so thick. Since the bed skirt, which has the plain fabric and comes with the package, I am trying to think of ways I can add some less busy areas to the whole look. I may just lay a plain colored throw across the bed. I tuck the comforter in on the sides and edges. The fabric is so thick I cannot tuck it in on sides. I also ordered the king size for my queen bed since I planned to not use the bed skirt. Hindsight tells me the queen size might have worked better, but due to shipping costs, I have decided to just figure out how to make it work. I would highly recommend this bed ensemble to anyone using it as shown.
