How everything cuts like butter. I don't have to use extra pressure when cutting through meats, thicker foods, or ever partial frozen foods. These are being used daily and washed daily and everytime they are pulled out to be used it's like they are being used for the first time. I have never had such an incredible knife set and I couldn't be happier!!

Steak Knives are Great

Years ago I purchased a set of Henckels Everedge Plus steak knives. In addition to using them on meat, I also enjoyed them for cutting tomatoes, and most soft fruits / vegetables. Over time I lost all but three of the steak knives and this year (2024) wanted to replace them. The only way I could buy the steak knives was by purchasing the 17 piece knife block set. While the steak knives remain my favorites, I'm finding the Everedge blade on the other sized knives in the set not to be as functional.

NOT actual knives

Knives are not really knives, but saws. They have no knife edge, just a hacksaw blade type edge that rips your food apart. In addition, they are NOT stainless steel. The first picture is on of these "knives" after 2 weeks and it's already rusting. The second picture is a knife from an inexpensive set I purchased in 1992 off a TV ad, nearly 33 years and still no rust!

Great knives

These knives are great! Very sharp and good for stabbing. They look great in my kitchen and make cutting steak easier!

I like how they are different types of knives to use to perform a specific task. Also, it gives us a description on when to use a specific knife. It feels great on my hand as I am slicing and the performance is precise.
