No Statin

My Cardiologist and PCP wanted me to start statin. I kept fighting with them, and saying no. I even have a prescription on file. I did the research about red yeast and tried another brand my cholesterol went up even higher. I tried these got tested 3 months laster cholesterol (LDL) dropped 63 pts. No one is talking about cholesterol medicine. I figured I'll take them 2 months give it a break and then start back. I'm going to do off and on. This is just my experience.
