Good Jazz Shoe

This is a good jazz shoe. Fits comfortably, lasts fairly long and is great for turning. We are happy with this shoe.

My Daughter's new favorite jazz shoe

I have been purchasing Capezio dance gear for 7 yrs now and the EJ2 style jazz shoes were our go to. My daughter wanted to try these because of the elastic around the ankle and the sole looked more form fitting like her Hanami ballets. She just started wearing them and absolutely loves them!!! The sizing has changed for these and the EJ2 style so we were able to just order her street shoe size 8.5 and they fit well.

Need to return.. Does not run true to size

Bought these for daughter. Too small… does not run true to size. Macys will not return as these are through a third party. Macys should not be dealing with third parties. My shopping will now end with Macys after many years!

size up! and you'll want to add an insole

These jazz shoes run small. I ordered (as recommended at Capezio website) to go with my street shoe size. Well... I went with my athletic shoe size (slightly larger than street shoes) and still they were too short. And not very comfortable due to lack of cushioning plus lump at ball of foot from the otherwise appreciated leather patch (great for spinning/pivoting). Returning them.

Run really big

My daughter wanted to try these as she has been wearing the OG EJ2 jazz shoes since she was 7 yrs old. She likes the feel of them and the arch support; however, these run big compared to the EJ2 style (she wears a 9.5M in those). I purchased a 9M & 9.5M in the jazz glove style and they were way too big and wide! Returning for an 8.5M and hoping they fit snug.

Lovely shoe, just not wide enough

I love the design and the overall quality of the shoe. But the Wide fit isn't quite wide enough, so I still feel some pain when I wear for prolonged periods. I would recommend this show for people with narrower feet. In general, Capezio shoes are more on the narrow side compared to other brands.
