Great little device
Was quite impressed with this little thing. Powerfull, loud and really good battery life. Easy to cary, has two separate changeable handles. Says its waterproof, but I wasnt that brave to try it.

Does not sync with other flips
The Flip 7 does not sync with Flip 6 or Flip 5. It is not clearly stated in the product specs.

We appreciate your feedback. Our JBL Flip 7 isn't compatible with the JBL Flip 6 and JBL Flip 5 for connecting or syncing. Our JBL Flip 7 features Auracast, while the JBL Flip 6 and JBL Flip 5 use the JBL PartyBoost feature. These two features are not compatible, meaning you won’t be able to link the speakers for synchronized playback. To connect multiple JBL speakers with the JBL Flip 7, they must support the same feature, such as the JBL Charge 6, Xtreme 4, Clip 5, or Go 4, which support Auracast feature.
Almost perfect!
I recently bought the JBL flip 7, and I have to say I'm super impressed by the sound quality. It is defintely a step up from the Flip 5 and 6 that I owned. However the only downside is the battery life defintely seems noticeably worse. It is still a somewhat reasonable length of time per charge, but unfortunate that it isn't as long as the previous generations!

Impressive little speaker
A really good, reasonably small bluetooth speaker that packs a punch when it comes to the sound - both volume and quality. Got this to replace a ten year old Sony speaker which was twice the size - yet the sound quality is easily as good. The bass performance is particularly good. JBL's app allows a degree of customisation such as EQ but I actually enjoyed the sound with all the EQ functions disabled. Battery life seems good and I've got about the 16hrs quoted. (Note that I was supplied a discounted product for testing purposes.)
