USLESS AS A DEAD CAT
Had it for say a yera. Stopped working and I have spent hours and hours with Tapo and Google Home app and the speaker which have all taken me around in frustrating circles trying to reconnect. Even tried various google home aps. THe guide is useless just as this product is. I can't even find any instructions to help me. DON'T BUY THIS OR SIMILAR JBL PRODUCTS

Not a Smart Device
Difficult to connect, complicated to download software. The sounds is just Ok. Generally speaking, not friendly use device.

Cannot connect via BLuetooth. I will not even bother with guarantee. Just do not buy this.

Disappointing Airplay reliability
I’ve had the JBL Link Portable for a couple weeks now. It connects to AirPlay but after a couple of minutes the audio drops. It stays “connected” but no longer plays any audio and won’t allow you to disconnect it. It just kinda freezes. It’s quite reliable it hasn’t held a connection for more than 15minutes yet. This replaced another AirPlay speaker that didn’t have these kind of issues. The audio quality is also rather hollow for such a big size. I would have expected a bit more base.

Horrible audio delay when used as a stereo pair
The speakers sound great, they seem good quality, pretty, solid. But they have bluetooth connection problems, have had to reset them many times, many hours of frustration with trying to get them to work. But the worst part is when they do work, they have horrible latency, so if you want to watch any video with them paired as a stereo pair, the video is unwatchable, the sound delay is more than a second. If you want to use just one the latency is ok, but if they are paired as stereo, it just doesn't work. A real dissapointment.

Poor battery life
I was gifted this speaker this past Christmas. Followed all applicable instructions and now the battery does not held a charge. After fully charged, I’m lucky to get 20min of play time. Other than this, great speaker with great sound!

I’ve had mine for over a year and I love it. My grandson likes to take it with him when he goes to play basketball with his buddies. It serves it’s purpose well!
