There is a youth mental health crisis in this country, but it doesn't have to be that way. Together we can make a difference for young people. This school year, Macy's is supporting youth mental health by partnering with The Jed Foundation (JED) and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Now through 9/14/2024, Macy’s will match donations made online at macys.com. JED is a leading national nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide in teens and young adults, helping them thrive now and in the future. NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization with over 650 state organizations and affiliates that provide advocacy, education, support, and public awareness around mental health and mental health conditions. Since 2022 alone, Macy’s has donated $3.3M to JED & NAMI to provide mental health services, create systemic change in high schools, colleges & universities, and supply resources for young people and supportive adults.

Something is wrong with those Donations!

A few hours ago, I wanted to purchase the item under this window and by mistake pushed the wrong button. I can't get my money back. although, I have organizations which I know need my help and I donated them. This one popped up on my bill. It is not that I am stingy, it is that I didn't buy the item I wanted. It came "with a purchase" Now if I want it I have to PURCHASE something else. I feel somewhat acquired, somehow... robbed? or what? It looks like those organizations are needy, but I do not know them. It does not feel right to me.
