Adorable but poor fit

I am 5'2" and short waisted so this dress should have fit but it is misproportioned! Way too short waisted. The waistline ended up directly under my bust. And the photo is deceptive as the same model is used in both the regular and petite description and she is 5'10"! It is a shame that this is poorly made because it is a great dress for Fall/Winter.
