You know, they remind me so much of the Sistine Chapel... the little lunettes painted on the sides. The large pieces... like this one are the best. They look all shiny and colorful under a Christmas tree. And the color really, really pops with an all white scene and some make-believe snow. It is so surprising how much people like these pieces as gifts.

Jim Shore's pieces are always amazing! I love this angel because it is so symbolic for the season and instantly warms your heart when you look at it. The nativity scene carved into the angel's skirt is beautiful and a perfect alternative to a big display and the colors are cheerfully bright. A great gift idea!

One Heck of an Angel

This nativity angel is a beautiful addition to my nativity collection. For years I have searched for unusual or different nativity pieces to have for our home to remind my three girls of the true meaning of Christmas. This angel nativity is compact and sturdy, adorned with beautifully carved and colored nativity participants, and topped off with a replica of what one could surmise, is the angel who announced Christ's birth. All these important characteristics can be found in this one lone angel and can be purchased for a very reasonable price. It has become one of my prized Christmas possessions.
