This JM Collection split neck, pull-on, cape overlay long sleeve blouse is lovely with a relaxed fit. Background color is deep black. There are small cream colored sunflower and brown colored cross shape patterns with bronze colored vertical metallic threads that sparkle subtly. The fabric is crepe which has a flowing quality that allows the cape overlay to drape fluidly. I also discovered accidentally while I bent over to wear my loafers and the cape overlay fell to the front which made it look like a shawl collar. With the holidays coming around the corner, this blouse is perfect to wear at parties. I’m 5’4” tall with a small chest so I chose size x-small which still gives me ample room in the torso, and the length hits me at the hips. (Pit to pit is 20” across.) You can pair this blouse with dressy cream, black or brown pants made of similar crepe fabric or chiffon. For me, I paired it with dark brown satin wide leg pants with brown suede loafers. I haven’t washed it yet but it’s nice to know that it’s machine washable in gentle cycle. I would, however, put it in a laundry bag in the wash and then hang it up to dry. It is such a feminine and pretty blouse. I will definitely wear it often in the months ahead so thumbs up! 👍
