Unsealed product for $$, Really?!

The Jo Malone bath oil bottle I recived today in the mail was unsealed( there is no foil or plastic seal under the cap). I would expect some kind of the seal when paying $75 for the oil. Even the cheap oils lotions from Target or Wallmart will come with the seal. The smell is also very light, not sure if it should be that light or if the product I received is not genuine and /or was dilluted or they somehow selling used product. There were no black bow, some yellow instead. I wanted to give this as a gift, but now probably not
