Product got tempered

Nothing wrong with the scent (best scent from Jo Malone). However, there is a sign this product was mishandled. When I opened the box, the bottle should be sitting snuggly inside the paper case holder. Instead, the bottom part of holder was torn both sides and the bottle fell to the back. Believe this is a return from previous customer or someone who already tried to remove the bottle from the holder and tried to use this product. I also read other comments on Macy's website customers received used products (signs products were opened/used) and now I am scared the product has been tempered.

Clean, fresh fragrance
