Stunningly useful
I had no idea that Boos made their own cutting boards! I have been using the Boos Block cream for probably close to a decade for my other cutting boards (which I love and use regularly!) and for whatever reason - did not make the connection! The quality of this board is ridiculous! Just as good (if not better) than my stupidly expensive ones I’ve bought at Williams Sonoma and other like places. It is substantial so I don’t feel it rocking while cutting and I don’t feel like it’s going to slip/slide all over my counter: it’s also big enough that I can cut multiple peppers or other larger items on it without worry. I haven’t tried but it definitely looks like it could handle a substantial piece of meat or something if the like. I live in a small apartment so storage is kinda tricky due to the larger size. it looks beautiful out and will absolutely be used for charcuterie soon. I can tell this is one that I’m going to have with me for a long time and I couldn’t be more excited about that :)

Great cutting board
This thing is huge and such great quality. I was shocked. It’s very heavy and great for cutting anything. I like to use it for sharing plates as well such as a charcuterie board because it can fit so much

Excellent quality
I received this product complimentary from Influenster for review purposes. Absolutely in love with this cutting board. Excellent quality and beautiful too. It is heavy though and that makes it handling and cleaning a bit difficult. So grateful that I got this product to try. If you are willing to splurge on a cutting board, definitely go for this!

Beautiful cutting board
I have wanted a John Boos cutting board like this for a very long time and I’m thrilled to finally own one. It is everything I expected, very good quality. I haven’t actually used it yet because I want to order their proprietary board oil and get it all nice and conditioned before I start using it. It does feel a little dry so I think it’s important to do that before use. It did come with a sample of their board conditioning cream but my understanding is that you’re supposed to use that after the oil, to sort of seal it in. It did come with one tiny little scratch but I think it won’t be noticeable after I do the oil and cream treatments.

Beautiful Block
The board is very heavy but you can tell it’s excellent quality. Also, the way the wood grain looks on this board is so beautiful. My husband is very excited to use it for all his cooking!

Beautiful board
This cutting board is amazing! The quality is exceptional and it looks beautiful. The wood is substantial sourced hand selected maple end grain making this super durable. This cutting board is very solid but that’s expected for a real quality cutting board. Make sure to use the Boos oil for maintenance. This cutting board can stay on my counter all the time. I enjoy using this for prepping in my kitchen makes me feel fancy.

Impressive but extremely heavy for the everyday cook
So off the bat this cutting board is so beautiful and after using it, I feel like this is going to last a long time. I love that the company provided a bore cream to make sure the woods stay moisturized and still have that Sheen over the years. I also like that it has little cutouts on the sides so it's better to lift. Now silly me, I assumed that since the board would be small, I didn't account for how heavy it would be. You definitely need two hands to carry this. You do not want this cutting board to fall on your foot. This is great for people who are professional chefs, really great home cooks that want an impressive/durable cutting board, and/or a great hostess that wants to serve charcuterie on top of it. Because of the heaviness,I wouldn't recommend this to someone who is a bit older or struggles with lifting things (I would get them a lighter product in the Boos Block line) but overall this is a great piece.
