Beautiful floral fabric in skirt that’s too bulky

I had hope this skirt had a slimmer profile as showed in photo. No one makes a slim fitting A line zippered skirt anymore. I’m 5’9” and wear a size 12. This style shirt makes me look like I’m wearing a size 16. Not good.
