Runs Extremely Small

I typically find myself in the 3XLT range for shirts. I am 6'3 and a bigger build. My wife ordered me this shirt in a standard 3XL to see how it might fit, and let me tell you, it ran extremely small. This shirt must have been improperly sized or something. This 3XL shirt felt more like an XL. I could barely fit it over my chest and the buttons were about ready to pop. I wear 3XL/3XLT in other brands like Nike and Polo, so either Johnny Bigg's sizing is way off, or I got a shirt that improperly sized.
