I have seen this (at HIGHER PRICES) elsewhere, when I noticed the price here, I bought a "couple" of sets for seating 12 at my dinner table. These are used every day for each meal. LOVE IT!!! RECOMMEND this item!
Timeless and a classic pattern
I purchased two sets. (Children in the house have accidents). Wonderful pattern.
Beautiful set!
I started buying pieces of this set from Macy's a few years ago. Since then I have added and added. Every Thanksgiving I bring out all the pieces and use them for our Thanksgiving feast. The plates are on the smallish side but that just makes for more trips back for seconds. There is a bit of a difference in the clarity of the design between the old pieces that were made in England and these. If you are adding to an original, English made set they won't match exactly. The difference isn't huge, but there is one.
Best classic dinnerware
Always wanted these and bought them years ago. Been buying different pieces all the time. Just beautiful when you set a Holiday table. They take me back to simpler times. Many compliments on them. I got VERY lucky 7 years ago when I found a Whole " Friendly Village, Christmas" dinnerware set. It's a service set for 8. That is very beautiful too. Christmas tree, fire going in fireplace. Very Beautiful. Husband won't touch it since he is afraid he'll break it and it's so very hard to find anywhere. Johnson Brothers is fantastic dinnerware. Would reccommend all the time.
I finally bought these dishes
After at least 15 years of admiring this pattern I finally purchased at a great price. I really like the nostalgic pattern that allows my mind to think of pleasant things.
Johnson Brother Stoneware
The Johnson Brother Stoneware is a very nice set! The set includes 4 each of the salad plates, dinner plates, bread and butter plates, rim soup bowls, fruit bowls, cereal bowls and mugs.
As pretty as the picture.
I have wanted these for years and finally ordered 2 sets for the holidays. They are lovely and hope to make them something that can be handed down through the family for years to come.
Really like the design
Very happy with my purchase of this dinner set. It's at a very good price, although the dinner plate is a bit small as one of the customers pointed out. I still would like to keep them. I really like the design on them. They are beautiful.
