Suction Cup Soles!
Nice shoe. However, sole creates a suction with each step taken. Everyone notices each step you take, by the loud suction noise!!! A redesign would be helpful! Waterproofing might also be helpful!

This is the 6th pair of J&M Amherst 2.0 Knit Plain Toe shoes in Navy that I have owned. I have also had (5) pairs in Black Knit as well as ordered other colors like Gray Knit, Taupe Heathered Knit & Teal Knit. It is by far my favorite style of J&M shoes that I wear daily. They are extremely comfortable & provide excellent arch support. I keep a new pair of Navy Knit & Black Knit on hand so I am never without them. I know styles run their course but hope this shoe will never be dropped from the line.

Most Comfortable & Versatile Shoe I’ve Ever Owned
I wore my Amherst 2.0 Knit Plain Toe on a 12-day trip to Europe. When my luggage didn’t arrive for the first half of the trip, these shoes had to do it all—and they delivered in every situation. They became my dress shoes at a palace gala, my footwear for a Chef’s Table 7-course dinner, my bike shoes through vineyards, and even my golf shoes. Through it all, they stayed incredibly comfortable, stylish, and versatile. The Amherst 2.0 Knit Plain Toe is hands down the most reliable and adaptable shoe I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

Color bleedthrough ruined them
I bought these a couple months ago but the leather underneath stitching bleeds through when they get slightly wet. So now my white shoes are turning tan. Very disappointed considering the price of the shoes. Absolutely do not buy any lighter colors of this product.

Light and comfortable
Great shoe and very comfortable. Only issue is I work in a court house with a lot of tile and flat floors. The shoes make a suction cup noise when I walk on flat surfaces which is very aggravating.

Comfortable shoes, poor traction on a wet surface
I’ve owned these shoes for several months. They are comfortable, lightweight, durable and have had good results when I’ve run them through the wash when they get dirty. However, beware. When walking on a hard wet surface (concrete surface more specifically) these shoes have little or no traction. The soles become extremely slippery and hazardous.
