Disappointing

Quality and comfort of these is not what I expect. Cheap leather that scuffs easily, not as comfortable as previous J&M shoes. I’m moving in to a different brand for replacement.

Destroy my heels

These shoes run small, and cut my heels deep everytime. Even with bandaids. I regret buying them

Look and feel great

I bought these several years ago and had them in my closet. I decided I wanted a sneaker/shoe crossover for comfort and casual wear, and ordered a pair of Wolf & Shepherd's like Gronk wears. Right out of the box I realized they (W&S) were not what I expected... too stiff. So i pulled my Johnston & Murphy Holden Wingtips out of the closet and realized the shoes I wanted were here all the time. Look like shoes, feel like sneakers. Six months later, I wear them almost every day and still love them. I'm only here at the website today to make sure they are still available in case I find it's time for a new pair!

More like patent leather shoe than expected

Not a fan, squeaks and not soft sheep skin leather, returned. Have multiple pairs of J&M shoes, was expecting better

Beautiful shoe, but..

I love the feel and look of the shoe. Classic Johnston Murphy. Issue is this shoe runs a bit small. I thought I could manage as I broke them in, but after a couple of days, it is clear that won't happen. They are just too narrow. Probably more of a function of how they are built. Can't return them because they have been worn, or I would. Just wrote to caution the next buyer. Buy a half-size up if you feet are not really narrow.

Size change?

Have a previous pair in a 11 1/2, the new 11 1/2 is much smaller. Bought 4 pairs of shoes and will be returning 3 pairs. Wearing J&M for 10 plus yrs, 11 1/2 has always fit, not the case anymore.
