One of my favorite J&M boots. They are worth the extra cost over their basic Chelsea black boot. It against the water proof benefit plus additional comfort with XC4. I normally wear a size 10 1/2 or 11 and went with the 11 which fits perfectly

Great Airline Crew Boot
Great airline crew boot, but they’ve been out of 9.5-10 sizes for over 6 months. Guess I’ll have to find another brand since the other Chelsea boosts aren’t black on black. It’s a shame. Wish they would make a Crew line. They could make a lot of money if they did it right.

Great shoe
The shoes look great and fit/feel comfortably. Compared to other shoes they tend to be about 1/2 size too big.

Not My Favorite Shoe
The boot looks okay under a cuff, but just okay. Additionally, it fits quite wide requiring the wearing of a thicker (hiking) sock, rather than the traditional dress sock.

Superb boot for pilots
I’ve worn this boot for over almost 2 years as a line pilot. The heal is only now wearing out, but the rest of the boot still looks to be in great condition and still shines up very well. The waterproofing is excellent, and I’ve used these boots through solid downpours and standing water, keeping my feet dry in all conditions. They have been fine to wear in extreme heat as well as very cold conditions on the ramp. The traction has been very good on ice and a variety of surfaces. With all of the safety features built into a great looking boot, I am amazed at how comfortable they are through the long days on the road for 2-week long rotations without any issues. I am in disbelief Johnston & Murphy is discontinuing these boots from what I have heard. They would be my go-to boots for life. I doubt there is any weight to these reviews, but I sincerely hope that Johnston & Murphy keeps these around. There’s no better boot for professional pilots.

Absolutely Perfect for Wide feet
Very comfortable, it's very difficult to find shoes for me that are wide to wear. These fit perfectly and are so what I wanted. My only issue is that I would like these same shoes in more colors. I would love them in a burgundy. Also, other styles offered in wide width.
