I bought size Petite Large. The top is too long and too wide for this size, it is Extra Large regular at least. Sleeves are so long that cover my thumbs.I can not return, because it was a Last Act deal. .
Appropriate for work or play.
I bought two of these shirts and two of the navy shirts. I have a difficult time finding simple work blouses. Rarely do I find a simple, appropriate blouses for work and when I do it is usually just in one color. So many tops have too much bling for me. I do not want cut-outs, ribbons, streams, fog-horns and glitter all over my blouse at work. Even finding long sleeves has become difficult. I have learned that when I find something that works, I better buy a few. I like Jones New York a lot. I find that this brand produces a lot of garments that are easy to wear to work. I am 5'5" so not strictly petite but it seems a lot of shirts hang down almost to my knees. I guess I'm short waisted. Either way, having a petite option helps me a lot. In this photo you can see the blouse has a longer length. What you cannot see are the buttons on the side. There are three buttons on each side of the blouse that match those on the front. The buttons are silver-tone. I would prefer gold, but I do like the option of unbuttoning the sides so that the blouse has a little more movement. This blouse looks a lot better on me with the sides unbuttoned.
Deceived
Lots of shiny buttons which was not seen in the photo. It’s not Jones New York quality as before. Unfortunately it’s final sale, cannot be returned. It will go to good will.
Jones NY shirt
I buy petite because they are shorter. This shirt passed tunic and was a dress on me. It goes directly to Goodwill. The fabric, design and detail was good. I would recommend to a very tall friend.
Petite xl size equals 1X----not petite
NOT a petite size - fit my daughter who is 1X. Also I didn't notice the care instructions but this is a pretty blouse.
Too big!
Far larger than size indicates. Must return.
