Smoth soft fabric with a bit of stretch.

I"m 5"4" and the size 8PS was a good fit, except it was longer than I expected and the waistband is tight. I have bought Jones New York jeans before and haven't had this problem. Perhaps the sizing has changed. I'm keeping them and will have them hemmed.I bought the light blue. The color and the fabric are great! They arrived in a timely manner.

I wear a petite and these are one of the few jeans that are really well-made and truly are a petite size.
