Not as it appears in the photo

It's hard to see this in the photo, but the pattern background is black, not navy blue. What's really deceptive about the photo, though, is that it makes the blouse look like it has waist shaping, which it doesn't - it's completely straight from shoulders to hips. Unfortunately, that makes it look really frumpy on me.
