Best microwave gadget yet!!

Love, love love. Pasta cooks in no time. I use it for all kins of pasta including lasagna noodles. Easy to control el dente preferences.

Best invention since pasta!

If you love pasta, you have to buy this! I am very particular about how my pasta is cooked (must be perfectly al dente), and was skeptical that it could be cooked to perfection in the microwave. But just add the amount of pasta you want (even as little as one serving) and tap water, put it in the microwave, and voila - perfect pasta! And you don't need to get a strainer dirty - just strain it right from the cooker. I wish I knew about this product sooner!

Great Purchase

I purchased this because I hate to wait for water to boil to cook pasta. It did not disappoint. I put in the serving size I needed and the water and let the microwave do the work. You will have to rinse the pasta to remove the starch and it did take a little thinking to figure out what I was doing as the directions are in metric measurements. All in all it wasn't that difficult. I had cooked pasta in less than 15 mins versus 25 on the stovetop. For me that is a plus.

Good... but...

I thought because it was for the microwave it would cook pasta quicker but it's the same as a pan on the hob. Less fuss with washing up and the pasta cooks really well and evenly.
