I have always wanted to have a wok in my kitchen arsenal. This is a really nice product and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I made two meals with it so far - stir fry beef and chicken fried rice. I found that the wok heated and held its heat extremely well making my meal easy to cook evenly. The wood handle is comfortable and was cool to the touch so I could move the pan with ease. The wok is sturdy and non-stick and I had absolutely no trouble with my food sticking to the pan. This wok is a bit on the small side so I had to cook my meal in batches, but this really did not cause any issues. It is a fine size for sides or smaller meals for 2. Clean up was so easy-peasy and completely effortless. I really enjoy using this wok.

Strong and lightweight
This Joyce Chen Classic Series 9.5-inch stir fry pan is strong yet lighter than other durable stir fry pans. It heats up quickly and it’s nonstick so it makes it easy to fry, sear and saute quickly and effortlessly. I used it for fried rice and it was completely nonstick because of the ceramic nonstick coating, so it was easy to prepare. I use it as I would a regular frying pan and as a stir fry pan, I use it for sauteing vegetables, making omelets and preparing fish and chicken. It’s just the right size for a family of 3 or 4. The wood handle is comfortable and easy to grip. It’s not dishwasher safe but no worries because it is so easy to clean since there is no scrubbing necessary because it’s non-stick.

Perfect Size
This is the perfect sized stir fry pan for small portions or one to three people. Some of the best features of this wok are the carbon steel material, wood handle, and weight. It heats quickly and the handle doesn't get hot. I only seasoned lightly with the first use and did not experience any sticking. The bottom is flat, and the size is appropriate for using on a regular sized cooktop stove. I don't know how it would work on a gas stove as I am not familiar with this type of cooking.

Super stir fry pan
I am really liking this ceramic stir fry pan by Joyce Chen. It heats up quickly and cleans up effortlessly. The food just slides right out which is great. I am careful not to use metal utensils while cooking with it because the ceramic coating can get easily scratched. I love that it is made without PFAS--basically a non-negotiable for any cookware I use nowadays. It is lightweight, easy to maneuver and a good size. The handle is comfortable in my hands and provides a nice aesthetic contrast to the darker pan. I will always be sure to let this cool completely before hand cleaning. I do wish it were dishwasher safe, but I understand why it isn't and will be sure to wash it by hand so it will last a long time.

Great size wok
This wok was lightweight and while only 9.5 inches, it is a great size for a side dish or meal for 2. It heated up very quickly and the handle didn’t get hot. Best of all, the wok was easy to clean 😊
